Donate to The 2010 Campaign
10 Million by 2010
The Foundation Board of Trustees and staff are proud to be at the threshold of a new era of growth as we celebrate the 35th Anniversary of our incorporation. Our past accomplishments have made it possible for us to move into this new era with great enthusiasm. Many of you know that the Foundation has had tenants in the Center for Nursing for almost 10 years. In the future we intend to occupy the entire building. Our goals include creating a nursing museum, increasing our health education programs, promoting and assisting nurses in becoming involved in research and promoting nursing recruitment and retention. In order to reach these goals the Foundation launched a capital campaign to raise 10 million dollars by the year 2010. This campaign is enabling us to substantially expand the work of our three Centers. Reaching our fund raising goal will be easy with your support!
- The first 2,000 individuals/organizations who pledge $5,000 will have the honor of being one of the 2,000 Nightingales, and will lead the way in helping us reach our goal, just as Florence Nightingale led the way in professional nursing.
- The 2,000 Nightingales will be recognized with their name prominently and permanently displayed at the Center for Nursing.
We are enormously grateful for donations in any amount that you are able to contribute as we strive for better programming for the public and registered nurses throughout the world.
The Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization. Contributions are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
