Planned Giving
The work of the Foundation of New York State Nurses is fully supported by the generosity of nurses and the general public who wish to support our mission to increase public knowledge and understanding of nursing, the nursing profession, and the arts and sciences on which human health depends.
When you are thinking about your estate planning, please consider including a provision for the Foundation of New York State Nurses. Your gift could be a specific dollar amount or a percentage of your estate or assets. For example, Estate Giving is provided by a gift designated through your will or using IRA’s, pensions, and/or profit-sharing accounts; Gifts of Appreciated Assets or Property include stocks, bonds, real estate, and/or charitable gift annuities.

(Note: the above artifacts are from the estate of Anastasia Berdy, RN, who was a graduate of the St. Luke's Hospital School of Nursing. She spent much of her life in Schenectady, NY where she was an active member of the Schenectady RN Club.)
