Scholarship Program for NYONE Members

NYONE will award scholarships to a member(s) in each of the six regions of the organization according to the criteria below. Awards for the 2011 year will be announced November 8th, 2010. Members may apply by submitting an application to the address below. Applications are available here and on the organization's website at www.nyone.org.
The Foundation of New York Sate Nurses is to administer the scholarship awards.
Criteria for the scholarship award is:
- Full membership in NYONE for minimum of 2 years
- Enrollment in an accredited educational program leading to a Bachelors of Science in Nursing, a Masters or Doctoral degree or post masters certification with a concentration in nursing leadership or nursing education.
- $5,000 dollars will be allocated each year to each region to fund the scholarship award.
- Each region may dedicate funds to BSN or advanced degree appropriate to the need of the region providing the total $ amount does not exceed a total of $5,000.
- The scholarships will be awarded in November for the following calendar year.
- Priority will be given to first time applicants.
