Mary Pappas, RN, named Person of the Year

CONGRATULATIONS to Mary Pappas, RN, on being named Queens Courier Person of the Year.
Ms. Pappas is a School Nurse at St. Francis Preparatory School and she recognized and reported to both the NYS Department of Health and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention what turned out to be the first cases of H1N1 in New York at the Fresh Meadows School.
