St. Luke's Alumnae Association Annual Meeting

St. Luke's Alumnae Association Annual Meeting was held at the Foundation of NYS Nurses, 2113 Western Ave, Guilderland, NY 12084, on Saturday, May 1st. Prior to the meeting, Foundation staff was available to provide tours of the Foundation, its displays and historical artifacts and to answer questions regarding the work of the Foundation's three centers: the Bellevue School of Nursing Alumnae Center for Nursing History; the Central New York Nurses Center for Nursing Research; the St. Luke's Hospital School of Nursing Alumnae Association Center for Public Education and the Institute for Nursing, the New York State Nursing Workforce Center.
Following the meeting a Nightingale Evensong, to commemorate the centennial of Miss Nightingale's passing, was held at the Cathedral of All Saints in Albany, NY.
Nurses and community members throughout the capital region attended to celebrate Miss Nightingale 's life and contributions to the nursing profession.
